Pourquoi is french for "why''. It is also a
fictional narrative that explains why something is the way it is, for example why a snake has no legs, or why a tiger has stripes. Sixth grade is trying their hand at writing their own pourquoi tales this week.
If you have ever seen "Tinga Tinga Tales" on Disney Junior, it has one of these every episode. Might be something fun to watch as an intro!!
